Coffeecito House, a Latin-influenced coffee shop known for its chef-baked pastries and fresh, made-from-scratch food, is looking for a Food Prep/Cook to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves working in a kitchen, has a passion for quality food, and thrives in an organized and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook premade food items such as burritos, flautas, egg bites, and empanadas, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes.
• Packaging: Properly package food items for delivery to our coffee shop.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment, including cleaning up after cooking and food prep.
• Inventory Management: Assist in ordering ingredients and supplies to ensure the kitchen is always stocked and prepared for production.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food preparation and cooking is required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and inviting environment.
• Assisting with light tasks, such as restocking and keeping the front area organized.
